Reorder PDF Pages
Drag and drop to reorganize PDF pages - Fix page order mistakes - Client-side Processing
Reorder PDF Pages Without Rebuilding Your Document
PDFs often end up in the wrong order after scanning, merging, exporting, or collecting pages from multiple sources. A title page may be buried in the middle, appendices may appear before the report, or scanned pages may arrive in reverse order. The reorder PDF tool lets you fix that page sequence visually.
Upload your PDF, review real page thumbnails in a grid, drag pages into the correct order, inspect pages with the zoom preview, then apply the reorder and download a clean PDF. The document is processed in your browser, so you can reorganize pages quickly without installing desktop PDF software.
Benefits of Reordering PDF Pages Online
Fix Page Order Mistakes
Correct scanned pages, merged PDFs, reports, contracts, forms, and presentations when the pages appear in the wrong sequence.
Visual Thumbnail Grid
See real page previews instead of guessing from file names or page numbers. The grid layout makes it easier to scan large documents.
Private Browser Processing
Your PDF is handled client-side in your browser. The page order changes without sending your document to a remote conversion server.
Popular PDF Reordering Scenarios
Scanning Mistakes
Fix pages that were scanned backward, inserted upside down in order, or mixed during batch scanning. Reorder the PDF instead of scanning the paper stack again.
Merged Document Cleanup
After merging multiple PDFs, pages may not land exactly where you need them. Move cover pages, attachments, exhibits, and supporting documents into the final order.
Reports and Proposals
Move the executive summary, pricing, signatures, charts, or appendices to the right section without recreating the PDF from the original source files.
Presentations and Handouts
Rearrange slide exports, training packets, class notes, meeting packs, and event handouts so the PDF flows in the order your audience expects.
How to Convert and Reorder PDF Pages
1. Upload Your PDF
Select a PDF file from your device or drag it into the upload area. After upload, the tool reads the document in your browser, counts the pages, and prepares the page preview workspace. The uploaded file name and total page count appear in the toolbar so you can confirm you are editing the right document.
2. Review Real Page Thumbnails
Each PDF page is rendered as a real thumbnail in a responsive grid. The top label shows the original page number from the source PDF, while the bottom label shows the page's new position in the reordered document. This helps you track both where a page came from and where it will appear after export.
3. Zoom In Before Moving Pages
Use the zoom icon in the corner of a thumbnail to open a larger page preview. The lightbox uses a higher-resolution render than the grid thumbnail, making it easier to identify pages with similar layouts, small text, signatures, tables, or scanned content. Navigate between previewed pages with the arrow controls and dots without leaving the reorder workflow.
4. Drag Pages Into the Correct Order
Drag any thumbnail and drop it where it belongs in the grid. After each move, the New Position label updates so you can immediately see the final page sequence. The original page label stays unchanged, which is useful when you are moving pages from the middle or end of a document.
5. Reset, Apply, Edit Again, or Start Over
If the arrangement is not right, use Reset Order to return every page to the original sequence without uploading again. When the order looks correct, click Apply Reorder to create the new PDF. The success screen lets you Download Reordered PDF, choose Edit Again to return to the same document, or Start Over to upload a different PDF.
Page Quality, Order Accuracy, and Privacy
Reordering Changes Sequence, Not Content
Reordering a PDF changes where pages appear in the document. It does not rewrite your text, flatten your pages, or intentionally reduce the quality of images. The output PDF uses your selected page sequence while preserving the page content from the original document.
- Original Page label: Shows where the page came from in the source PDF.
- New Position label: Shows where that page will appear after reordering.
- Reset Order: Restores the original sequence before you export.
- Client-side processing: Keeps the workflow fast and private in your browser.
